“Miss Mais” shop open since 2021 in Paratico (BS) on Lake Iseo, is a local landmark for people that suffer from celiac disease, gluten sensitivity or other food intolerances. After discovering that she is celiac, owner Savina Lazzaroni, personally experienced the difficulties of those who, once diagnosed with celiac disease, have to orient themselves between food, diet, flavors, habits and new lifestyle.

Savina has thus decided to change her life and open the doors of her shop, “Miss Mais, which is meant to be much more than “business”, with the aim of providing solutions and answers to those who are affected by the disease like her.

At today’s date, a strict gluten-free diet is the only therapy that guarantees the celiac a perfect health condition and it is often not easy for new-diagnosed to get used to the change of flavors.
